Bruce B. Smith, 69, of Palmer Township, died June 9, 2018, at home. He was the companion of Karen M. Shriver for 22 years.

Born in Catasauqua, he was a son of the late Harry B. Jr. and Dorothy M. (Fink) Smith.

He was a 1967 Catasauqua High School graduate. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Husson University, Bangor, Maine.

He was a lifetime member of Christ United Church of Christ, Schoenersville.

He was a lifetime member of the East End Fire Company and of Porter Lodge No. 284, North Catasauqua.

In addition to his companion, he is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Ann and Carrie Mae, both of North Catasauqua; and two grandchildren, Brittany Ann and Branden Michael Bilheimer.
