Faye J. Kern-Colliflower, 88, of Slatington, died June 12, 2018, in her home. Born in Fullerton, she was a daughter of the late Spurgeon and Agnes (Wavrek) Weidner. She was the wife of the late Forrest Kern and the late Edward Colliflower.

She was a seamstress for various factories in the area for many years. She also was a nurse aid for Cedarbrook, Allentown.

She is survived by a son, Robert W. and his wife Cynthia Kern of Fogelsville; a daughter, Susan and her husband Robert Richard of Potter County; a sister, Joyce Tomanik of Allentown; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a brother, Spurgeon Weidner Jr.
