Doris R. Gancarcik, 80, of Bethlehem, died June 15, 2018, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Margaret (Weirbach) Mathias. She was the wife of Michael J. Gancarcik Jr. for 60 years.

She was a 1954 Liberty High School graduate.

She worked briefly as a legal secretary.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mary and her husband Charles Mirro of Bath, Jean Gancarcik, and Michelle and her husband Garrett Wallach of Bethlehem Township; a son, Michael III of Bethlehem Township; a brother, Kenneth and his wife Joan Mathias of Hellertown; and three grandchildren, Kimberly Mirro and Amber and Aaron Weaver.
