Fogelsville churches, VFW honor fallen heroes

Residents of Fogelsville attended a Memorial Day ceremony at the Fogelsville Cemetery to remember those who have fallen protecting the United States during its many wars.

The ceremony was led by Pastor Nelson Quinones of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Fogelsville.

Members of Robert M. Fegely VFW Post 8282, Breinigsville, honored their fallen comrades with prayers, brief speeches and a rifle volley.

Scouts from Troop 72, Fogelsville, were flag bearers.

A combined women’s chorus from St. John’s UCC and St. John’s Lutheran churches sang “Taps.”
