Louis J. Chomo, 80, of Whitehall, died June 13, 3018, at home. He was the husband of Patricia M. (Lazur) Chomo for 56 years.
Born in Kelayres, he was a son of the late Louis R. and Palma (Dragonette) Chomo.
He was a 1955 graduate of McAdoo High School and a 1959 graduate of Lafayette College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
He was a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
He was an electrical engineer for PPL, Allentown, for 34 years until he retired.
He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.
He was a member of Jones-Quigg American Legion Post 739, Hokendauqua.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Linda of Whitehall and Lori and her husband John Traupman of Bloomsburg; a son, Louis and his wife Jennifer of Bethlehem Township; and four grandchildren, Jessica, Eric, Justin and Erika.
