Sacred Heart Church’s men’s Scripture study group will meet 7-8:30 p.m. June 21 in the Burkhardt building of the church, 210 E. Northampton St. The study is the Second Book of Kings, using Dr. Scott Hahn Ignatius Catholic Bible study.

There will be no meetings in July and August, so see you in September.

Sacred Heart Church’s annual church picnic is rapidly approaching, and there is still a need for people to work at the stands. Sign-up sheets for all stands in need will soon be placed at the church entrance.

Teenagers, especially those in need of service hours, are encouraged to volunteer.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, is now in full swing with the summer worship schedule, which has both traditional and celebration worships 9:30 a.m.

Emmanuel’s wants all to know it is no longer collecting can tabs to benefit the Ronald McDonald House.
