Robert P. Bohning, 83, of Bethlehem, died June 10, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Harold Sr. and Mary (Muschlitz) Bohning.He was the husband of the late Fleurette (Troxell) Bohning.
He was a 1952 graduate of Liberty High School.
He was in the United States Army, stationed in Kassel, Germany, from 1956-1959.
He worked for the Bethlehem Steel for more than 30 years until he retired.
He was a member of Steel City Mennonite Church.
He was a team manager for 10 years for City Line Little League. He was a baseball and soccer coach at the Bethlehem Christian School.
He was a dedicated blood donor for the Keystone Blood Bank for many years.
He is survived by a daughter, Nancy and her husband Robert Schnecker Jr. of Bethlehem; two sons, Jeffrey D. Sr. and his companion Terry of Bangor and Timothy R. and his wife Thelma of Bethlehem Township; a brother, Dwight and his wife Janice Bohning of Freemansburg; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by two sons, Daniel and Joel; and two siblings, Harold Jr. and Myrtle Frace.
