Marlene D. (Hill) Race, 77, of Walnutport, died June 6, 2018, in her home. She was the wife of the late William B. Race Sr.

Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late Royal O. and Arlene C. (Strohl) Hill.

She was a 1958 graduate of Whitehall High School.

She scheduled bus trips for several years while a member of the Palmerton Over 60 Club. She and her late husband were members of the Lehigh Valley Antique Car Club and showed previously their 1921 Willys Knight and their 1936 Buick.

She is survived by a daughter, Kathie A. Botts, with whom she resided; two sons, William B. Jr. of Charlotte, N.C., and Darryl A. and his husband Sam of Allentown; six grandsons, Scott, William III, James, Robert, Turner and Collin; two great-grandsons; and a sister, Kathryn Heller of Effort.

She was predeceased by son, Keith A.
