Whitehall Township Public Library: Registration is underway for summer reading program
Registration for the summer reading program, for kids and adults, began June 5. The theme this year will be “Libraries Rock” - and we will be rockin’!
The program for adults (18 years and older) will run June 5-Aug. 24. The kids’ program runs June 5-Aug. 18. To participate, you must register either at whitehallpl.org or at the front desk. All you need to do is keep track of the books you read or listen to, write down the title and author, your name and phone number and turn in the reading log before the deadline.
The adults will have a reading challenge sheet as well, but this is optional.

In preparation for our “Libraries Rock” program, Whitehall High School students, under the direction of art teacher Danny Moyer, created a music-themed mural, featuring famous bands and musical artists. The mural sections are hanging in the children’s area of the library.
Thank you to Mr. Moyer and his talented WHS students for their hard work! Please stop by and see this awesome mural that will be hanging until October.

Homemade instruments will be the craft of the day June 20. The fun begins 1:30 p.m.
We’ll be helping kids to make their very own musical instruments and encouraging them to make some music for themselves. This program is for kids ages 5 and up.
