Northampton: Liederkranz plans June 8 clam night

Northampton Liederkranz, 402 E. Ninth St., will hold a clam night 5-8 p.m. June 8.

Northampton Area Historical Society and Quota Club will join together for a community yard sale 8 a.m.-1 p.m. June 9.

The historical society will hold its sale at the Siegfried Station, West 21st Street.

Quota Club will hold its sale at Canal Street Park. Refreshments and baked goods will be sold.

To reserve a space at Quota’s sale, call Kelly at 610-262-7826. There is a fee for the spot.

The historical society will be accepting donations for the sale from the public at the station 6-8 p.m. June 7 and 8.

St. John’s Friendly Fifties will meet 1 p.m. June 11 in the church’s social hall, 1343 Newport Ave.

Ed Pany will speak about the Northampton cement industry.

New members are always welcome.

Atlas Cement Company Memorial Museum, 1401 Laubach Ave., will be open 1-3 p.m. June 13.

It is open to the public the second and fourth Sundays of the month through September.

Holy Trinity Nursery School, 1235 Main St., is registering children for the 2018-19 school year.

The 2-year-old playgroup class meets 9:30-11 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. Class size is limited to 12 children. Children do not need to be toilet trained for this class.

The 3-year-old class meets 9-11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Class size is limited to 16 children. Children need to be toilet trained for this class.

The 4-year-old class meets 12:15-2:45 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Class size is limited to 16 children. Children need to be toilet trained for this class.

Children must turn the appropriate age for the class by Sept. 1.

There is a registration cost and a monthly tuition fee.
