John P. Gaul, 68, died May 30, 2018. He was the husband of Margaret A. (Miner) Gaul for 46 years.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late James Emery and Josephine (Muscler) Gaul.

He earned an associate degree in history from Northampton Community College.

He was a district manager for The Morning Call newspaper for many years until he took retirement.

He was involved with the YMCA Indian Guides and Boy Scout Troop 329.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by son, Alan M.; a daughter, AmyJo and her husband Gene Brey; a brother, James Gaul; and four grandchildren, Jack, Ross, Devin and Colin.

He was predeceased by a sister, Judy Spaar.
