Jean L. Quevy, 86, formerly of Coplay, died May 30, 2018, at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth. She was the wife of the late John P. Quevy Sr.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Rice and Helen I. Jones.

She is survived by eight children, Susan and her husband Charles Jacobs, Rochelle and her husband Gary Swoyer, Elizabeth and her husband Kenneth Wechsler, Adrian and his wife Debra, Christine and her husband Peter Boyle, Rose Riddick, John Jr. and his wife Karen and Melissa and her husband Robert Guard; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and one expected; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a brother, Charles Roth; a sister, Jerldine Jacobs; and a great-grandson, Anthony Schock.
