Helen J. (George) Roman, 88, of Bethlehem and formerly of Whitehall, died May 24, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg campus. She was the wife of the late John J. Roman for 60 years.

Born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, she was a daughter of the late George and Isabelle (Zaher) George.

She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, Fullerton.

She is survived by two sons, George and his wife Roseanne and David; two daughters, Kathryn and her husband Paul Davis and Denise and her husband Dave Dempsey; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one expected to arrive shortly; a sister, Mary Manatakos; three brothers, Louis and his wife Roberta George, Tony George and Dr. Edward and his wife Kathy George; a goddaughter, Kristina Hugenberg; nieces; nephews; and extended family.

She was predeceased by an infant granddaughter, Renee Kathryn Davis; a sister, Elizabeth George; and a brother, Joseph George.
