Storytime and crafts with Miss Veronica will be 11 a.m. June 7 and 14. All ages are welcome to attend, and no preregistration is necessary.

We will have special hours due to SPARK training. The library will be open noon-5 p.m. June 14. No fines will be charged for June 14, and any items due that day will be due June 15.
The library will be joining the SPARK library system June 28.
We will be the third library in Lehigh and Carbon counties to unite under this system. Whitehall Township Public Library went online in April, and the Emmaus Public Library will go online June 2.
Eventually, 11 libraries will be connected to offer greater access to more items.
Please bear with us as the staff learns the new system and becomes accustomed to new procedures.

Summer is almost here, and we will again be having our summer learning program for all ages.
This year’s theme is “Libraries Rock.”
Any students in grades 6 through 12 who are interested in becoming part of our “volunteen” program and work with the children and plan activities should stop by the library and talk to a staff member.
This is a great way to give back to your community and to fulfill service-hour requirements for school or church.

We are accepting donations for our October book sale.
We can no longer accept VHS tapes, textbooks, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest condensed books or any materials that are torn, dirty or damaged by mildew or smoke.
For your safety, we ask that you drop your donations off anytime the library is open.

Thank you to everyone who helped with our spring basket social. We appreciate all the donations and hard work.
