FALCON INSIDER

During the week of May 14 in preparation for the prom, students participated in a prom spirit week. Each day had a different theme. The week’s themes included black out day, Hawaiian day, meme/character day, 80s day and color day. Students showed their school spirit by dressing up for each of the different days.

Congratulations to the Salisbury twirlers! Both teams traveled to Wildwood, N.J. during the weekend of May 5. The middle school team won first place with a score of 91.49. The high school team won second place. Also, congratulations to Katelynn Souder who won the Tournament Indoor Association National Judges Association Scholarship.

Congratulations to the Salisbury softball team! The team is second in the Colonial League.

Students in grades nine through 11 who are interested in joining the cross country team should report to Room 124 during Falcon Period May 30 for an interest meeting.

The path in the Salisbury High School courtyard is officially open. Thanks to the environmental club, a path was built through the courtyard. Students can now use the courtyard to travel between classes. This is especially useful to students who have classes on two opposite ends of the school. The courtyard is always open for students to use, unless there is bad weather, such as rain or snow.

Students are excitedly waiting for the Memorial Day break. SHS students will have off May 25 and 28.

The last day of school is June 12.
