Charles F. Fritz, 73, of Northampton, died May 14, 2018, at home. He was the husband of Myrtle H. (Mackey) Fritz for 52 years.

Born in Pottsville, he was a son of the late LeRoy H. and Thelma P. (Batdorf) Fritz.

He was a 1963 Pottsville High School graduate.

He was a retail sales manager for the former Thom McAn Shoes, Allentown. He then worked for 38 years for Macy’s Department Store until he retired in 2009.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Lori A. and her husband David Beers Jr. of Whitehall; a son, Jeffrey C. and his fiancee, Heather S. Trzaska of Emmaus; six grandchildren, Alexander, Andrew, Dakota, McKenzie, Ireland and Zachary; a sister, Suzanne Hipp of Pine Grove; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Jennifer M. Rota; and a brother, David L.
