Siegfried Railroad Station, home of Northampton Area Historical Society, will be open to visitors 1-4 p.m. May 20. The station is located on West 21st Street (Route 329).
This year, the society will feature the second ward of Northampton. Artifacts from businesses past and present will be displayed.
On May 26, a tree will be dedicated in honor of Harold P. Smith, the society’s former president, who died last year. The dedication will be held 11 a.m. at the station.

The annual Wynnewood Estates family garage sale will be held 7 a.m.-3 p.m. May 26.
More than 50 families will be participating.
To get to the sale, travel east on 10th Street from Main Street. Turn left onto Atlas Lane and continue to Buckingham Drive.

The 10th annual Paw Prints on the Canal is set for 11 a.m.-4 p.m. June 3 at Canal Street Park. It will be held rain or shine.
The event is sponsored by Northampton Borough and benefits the Northampton Police Department’s K-9 unit.
Highlights of the day include a rescue parade, noon, and a sharp-dressed pet contest, 1 p.m. Northampton’s K-9 unit will offer demonstrations.
