Coplay Public Library: Library adjusts hours for new SPARK system training
The library will soon be joining the SPARK library system, which will include 10 other libraries in the Lehigh and Carbon counties area.
To ensure that all our records are ready for transfer and the staff is trained, we will need to close at certain times. Library hours will be noon-7 p.m. today, May 17.
Thank you for your understanding during our down times.

You still have time to purchase tickets for the spring basket social!
All baskets are on display at the library. There are 80 items from which to choose.
The baskets will be moved to St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St., May 19, and will be on sale during its ham and chicken dinner, 4-7 p.m.
The drawing will take place 7 p.m. You do not need to be present to win. You can also purchase dinner tickets at the library.
All proceeds from the dinner benefit the church; all proceeds from the baskets benefit the library.

Summer is almost here, and we will again be having our summer learning program for all ages. This year’s theme is “Libraries Rock.”
We are looking for students in grades 6 through 12 who are interested in becoming part of our “volunteen” program by working with the children and helping to plan activities.
If you are interested, please stop by the library and talk to a staff member.

We accept donations for our book sales all year, but we can no longer accept VHS tapes, textbooks, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest condensed books or any materials that are torn, dirty or damaged by mildew or smoke.
For your safety, we ask that you drop your donations off anytime during library hours: 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
