Catasauqua: George Taylor House to celebrate opening day with tours May 20

The George Taylor House, Lehigh and Poplar streets, will be celebrating opening day 1-4 p.m. May 20.

There will be an open house and tours as well as the program “The Life of George Taylor” presented 2 p.m. by re-enactor Rick Guth.

Come on out for an enjoyable afternoon!

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 417 Howertown Road, will be having bingo 2 p.m. May 20 in the fellowship hall.

The doors open 12:30 p.m. Food will be available for purchase.

There will be 20 games of bingo. There will also be a tricky tray.

Proceeds will benefit the general fund.

Reminder: The South Catasauqua annual neighborhood yard sale is being held 9 a.m.-2 p.m. May 18 and 19. It will be held, rain or shine, at locations south of Race Street up to and including Circle Drive.

The Catasauqua Fire Police will be having a yard sale 9 a.m.-2 p.m. May 26 at the fire training grounds on Race Street.

You can rent a space for a small fee. Food and drinks will be sold.
