Box Tops have been tallied for the final collection of the school year. Amounts collected from November to May, as per grade level, are as follows: kindergarten with 1,387; first grade with 2,746; second grade with 2,421; third grade with 2,618; and fourth grade with 2,982.

Way to go, Sheckler Elementary School students!

A total of 23,386 Box Tops have been collected from August 2017 to May 2018, and, together, Sheckler has turned that trash into $2,338.60 in cash for our school.

Box Tops can continue to be sent in. Please continue to save them over the summer break to help with next school year’s first submission.

Yearbook orders, along with payment, are due to the school no later than tomorrow, May 11.

Third-grade students will be taking a field trip to Lost River Caverns in Hellertown May 16. The trip ties in with the studies on rocks and minerals they are learning about in a unit of their science curriculum.

Students in fourth grade will be traveling to Jacobsburg on a field trip. Students in Mrs. Gregson’s, Mr. Wilson’s and Mr. Zeiber’s classes will be going May 17, and those students in Mr. Burker’s and Mrs. Elek’s classes will travel May 18.
