Catasauqua: Catasauqua Garden Club hosts annual plant sale
The Catasauqua Garden Club’s annual plant sale is scheduled for May 12 at Public Library of Catasauqua, 302 Bridge St. The sale will run 9 a.m.-noon, as long as there are still plants available.
In addition, Will Schultz, who built a John Smith 26-note universal street organ, will be available to entertain and discuss his iconic street organ.
Penn State soil test kits will also be available for purchase.
Come out early for the best plant selections!

Bethany Church, 429 Walnut St., will be holding a free meet-and-greet movie night with the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks May 18.
The event starts 6 p.m., with the movie starting 6:30 p.m. There will be a limited number of autographed footballs for children.
Popcorn and water will be provided for the movie, but you may bring your own snacks and beverages as well.

The South Catasauqua annual neighborhood yard sale is being held 9 a.m.-2 p.m. May 18 and 19, rain or shine.
It will be held at various locations south of Race Street, up to and including Circle Drive.
There is a small participation cost to defray the cost of the neighborhood permit.
Payment can be made to Linda at 385 Faith Drive, Ronnie at 520 Circle Drive, Penny at 809 Bethlehem Road or Eugenia at 817 Bath Ave. Please pay the fee by May 14.

Historic Catasauqua Preservation Association will be holding a Bunco night 7 p.m. May 18 at the Biery House, 8 Race St.
Parking is at the Deily Coal Yard, 5 Union St. It’s BYOB, and light snacks will be available.
There is a fee.
