Carol Lynn Thompson, 53, of Coplay, died May 6, 2018, at home. She was the wife of John Thompson for 33 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of Mel and Rosemarie (Herzog) Haffner.

She was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a son, Zachary; a brother, Dennis Haffner of Chicago, Ill.; a sister, Diane and her husband Angel Silva of Northampton; nieces; and nephews.

There will be a calling time 5:30-7 p.m., followed by a memorial service 7 p.m., both May 10 at the church, 3355 MacArthur Road, Whitehall.
