The youth group at Hope Lutheran Church, 4131 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville, will host bingo May 5, featuring Vera Bradley bags as bingo prizes.

Doors open 11 a.m., and bingo starts 12:30 p.m.

In addition to bingo, there will be a Chinese auction, door prizes and five specials. The kitchen will be open.

Proceeds benefit the youth attending the 2018 National Youth Gathering in Houston in July.

The Indianland Garden Club plant sale and auction will be held 6-6:45 p.m. May 8 at Hope Lutheran Church.

A cash-and-carry sale with auction begins 7 p.m., with Richard Dotta as the auctioneer.

There will be favorite perennials from members’ gardens, raffle prizes and light refreshments.
