Joan M. (LaRose) Cressley, 78, of Lehighton, died April 26, 2018, in her home. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Cressley.

Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late Clarence T. and Mary A. (Caffrey) LaRose.

She was a bank teller for more than 25 years for the former Tri-County Bank, Lehighton and Bowmanstown, until she retired in 2002.

She was a member of St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Franklin Township.

She was a member and a former treasurer of the Lehighton Area Lioness Lions Club.

She is survived by a daughter, Dianna L. and her husband Thomas Riegel of Coplay; two sons, David T. of Weissport and Robin D. of Franklin Township; two grandchildren, Robyn and Jake; a great-grandson, Damian; a brother, Thomas LaRose of Philadelphia; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Shirley Drumbore.
