John A. Iley Sr., 89, of Bethlehem, died April 22, 2018, at Cedarbrook, Allentown. Born in St Petersburg, Fla., he was a son of the late Robert T. and Willie Grace (Richardson) Iley-Kahler. He was the husband of Marjorie A. (Lehr) Iley for 65 years.

He was in the U.S. Air Force from 1946 to March 1953.

He was a truck driver in the cement industry and worked for Lehigh – Portland Cement and Penn Dixie. For the past 10 years, he worked for True Value Hardware.

He was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Allentown.

He was a member of Central Pennsylvania Teamsters.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by five daughters, Grace A. of Chicago, Ill., Patricia A. and her husband Stefano Lombardo of Bethlehem, Beverly and her husband Jeff Brobst of Kempton, Princess and her husband Keith Zehner of Allentown and Crystal and her husband Lu Brunetta of Whitehall; a son, John Iley Jr. of Breinigsville; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
