Robert “Bob” J. Kerin, 69, of Allentown, died April 14, 2018, in his home.

Born in Fountain Hill, he was a son of the late John F. and Jeannette (Painter) Kerin.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and was active in the reserves.

He was a graduate of Shippensburg University.

He was an electrician for Abington Hospital for many years before he retired.

He had two dogs, Fred and Ethel, who will be going to Furry Feet Rescue as a result of his passing.

He is survived by a son, Michael J. and his wife Katherine; two brothers, James and his wife Becky and David; two sisters, Patricia Kerin and Kate DiMaio; and six grandchildren, Reece, Veronica, Alex, Dagny, Logan and Jessica.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Rachael O’Cieran.

Contributions may be made to Furry Feet Rescue, 771 S. Cottonwood Road, Walnutport, 18088, for the care and rehoming of Fred and Ethel.
