Marie S. (Panny) Polzer, 87, of Cementon, died April 22, 2018, at Fellowship Community, Whitehall. She was the wife of the late Stephen R. Polzer.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Adolf and Anna (Kluscarits) Panny.
She was a bus driver for the Whitehall-Coplay School District for 12 years, retiring in 2002.
She and her twin sister, Aggie, sang as The Panny Sisters with both the Walt Groller and Frank Hanner orchestras for more than 36 years.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Stiles, where she participated in the Rosary Society for many years.
She is survived by three daughters, Joni P. Trump of Whitehall, Judith and her husband Julian Flear of New York and Jennifer R. of Boca Raton, Fla.; two sons, Stephen J. and his wife Deborah of Greensboro, N.C., and Daniel R. and his wife Cindy of Whitehall; six grandchildren, Daniel, Jacquie, Kylie, Ryan, Kristin and Erica; three great-grandchildren, McKenna, Mauren and Michael; three sisters, Stella Lubeneski and Agnes Panny, both of Whitehall, and Margaret Held of Yorktown, Va.; a cousin, Karoline and her husband John Mikitsh; nieces; and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters and five brothers.
There will be a calling time 6-9 p.m. April 27 and 9-10 a.m. April 28, both at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 a.m. April 28 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 3024 S. Ruch St., Whitehall.
