The Friends of Music of Bethlehem will host a free outstanding young artist awards and recital program at 3 p.m. on April 29 at Wesley Methodist Church, 2540 Center St.

Performing will be this year’s outstanding young artists are flautist Micaela Azzati, a student of Robin Kani, first place; and clarinetist Madeleine Baker, a student of Dr. Deborah Andrus, second place. The Rising Star award will be presented by Friends of Music chair Lynnie Godfrey to pianist Muxue “Snow” Du.

A reception and a meet and greet will follow the recital.
