Marjorie E. (DeWitt) Swales, 84, of Northampton, died April 8, 2018, at Renaissance Home, Northampton. She was the wife of the late George E. Swales.

Born in Kingston, she was a daughter of the late J. Herbert and Stella (Weidner) DeWitt.

She was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, Schoenersville, where she was a choir member for many years.

She is survived by two daughters, Janet E. Koch of Florida and Lois A. Swales-George and her husband David George of Mertztown; a son, David E. and his wife Carolyn of Nazareth; a grandson, Daniel; a great-granddaughter, Julia Ava Koch; a sister, Georgiena Love of the Carolinas; stepgrandchildren; stepgreat-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
