Helen R. Herr, 93, of Northampton, died April 7, 2018, at Sacred Heart Senior Living, Northampton. She was the wife of the late Joseph Frank Herr.

Born in Coplay, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Brietfeller) Walakovits.

She worked at the former Universal Pants Factory for over 45 years before she retired.

She was a member of Queenship of Mary Church, Northampton.

She is survived by a son, Joseph J. and his wife Linda; a grandson, Joseph M. and his wife Resa; a granddaughter, Kristi and her husband Duane Schroder; four great-grandchildren, Kayla and Brayden Herr and Colton and Samantha Schroder; two sisters, Margaret and Pauline Walakovits; nieces; and nephews.
