Salisbury Middle School and Salisbury High School will have an early dismissal 12:15 p.m. April 20. The elementary schools will dismiss at their regular times.

The next school board meeting will be held 7:30 p.m. April 18 in the administration building.

The Harry S Truman Elementary School PTO is currently running its annual Mother’s Day flower sale. This year the PTO is offering 10-inch hanging baskets, annual flats and 16-inch Impatiens Bag of Blooms. Also available are coupons which can be redeemed at Dan Schantz Greenhouse and Cut Flower Outlet. Please see an HST student if interested.

The next curriculum and technology meeting will be held at SMS beginning 7 p.m. April 23.

Pennsylvania System of School Assessment testing continues for those students in fourth and eighth grades as they finish the assessments with the science portion April 24 and 25. Please ensure your students in these grades have a good breakfast and a good night’s sleep so they can do their best.

HST will hold its next T-shirt day April 26.

HST and Western Salisbury Elementary School will dismiss 1 p.m. April 27. SMS and SHS will dismiss at regular time. If your dismissal plans change for this day, let your school know.

HST yearbook orders are due by April 27. Cash and checks, made to HST PTO, are accepted. Don’t miss your chance to get this book of memories for your HST student.

April 30 will be the HST kindergarten invitation to lunch. If you have a student in kindergarten, please look for information to be sent home shortly.

Any student who missed any portion of the PSSAs will have the opportunity to make them up April 30 through May 4.

The Franko Farm yard waste drop-off site will be open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 24 and 28. Township branch collections will begin the week of April 23.
