Doris Skubik, 88, of Hanover Township and formerly of Northampton, died April 5, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Stephen J. Skubik.

Born in Allentown and raised in Hokendauqua, she was a daughter of the late William and Myrl (Miller) Prong.

She was a reserve person for the former Cross Country Clothes, Egypt, for 25 years until she retired in 1994.

She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Allentown.

She was a former member of the Coplay Saengerbund.

She is survived by a son, Michael S. and his wife LouAnn of Northampton; a grandson, Dylan of Northampton; her companion, Gary Transue of Allentown; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, David Prong; and two sisters, Mary Alice Krock and Myrl Emma Dech.
