ROSE GARDEN Blue Star marker dedication April 27

A Blue Star memorial marker will be dedicated during a program at 2 p.m. April 27 at the Bethlehem Rose Garden band shell between Union Boulevard. and Broad Street. The Bethlehem Garden Club is hosting the event.

Music will be provided by the Nitschmann MS Band and the Liberty HS bagpipers. Pastor Jerry Kulp of Messiah Lutheran Church will offer the invocation.

Honored guests and officials include the Bethlehem Garden Club president Wendy Webber Welsh; the City of Bethlehem Mayor Robert Donchez; Blue Star Memorial Marker chairwoman Liz Lorenz; Pennsylvania Representatives Marcia M. Hahn and Steve Samuelson; the daughters of Marion, Suzanne and Carolyn Clewell; and the Honor Guard of Post 4714, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Northampton.
