St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., announces preschool classes opening in August.

There will be an open house 6-8 p.m. April 16 with light snacks donated by Chick-fil-A.

The Golden Agers of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church reminds members that May anniversary tickets are on sale.

Call Maria Sweeney at 610-432-7562 for tickets. The deadline for tickets is April 27.

The Golden Agers are also sponsoring a trip to Sight and Sound, Lancaster, to see “Jesus” June 13.

There will be lunch at Shady Maple.

The bus leaves the parking lot of St. Elizabeth’s 10 a.m.; lunch is 11:30 a.m.; and the show starts 3 p.m.
