LeRoy C. Bickert Jr., 68, of Lower Nazareth, died April 2, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. Born in Phillipsburg, N.J., he was a son of the late Clara J. (Pierfedeici) and LeRoy C. Bickert. He was the husband of to Kathleen (Gaydos) Bickert for 41 years.

He was a Phillipsburg Catholic High School graduate.

He worked for Hoffman-LaRoche and DSM, from which he retired after 43 years.

He was a Lower Nazareth Township supervisor and was on the township’s Parks and Recreation Board and the Planning Commission.

He was a lifetime member of the New Jersey Fireman’s Association and a past member of the Lower Nazareth Lions Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Matthew and his wife Katherine of Plains; a daughter, Jennifer and her husband James Chrin of Lower Nazareth; two grandchildren, Evan and Annmarie Chrin, and a child to arrive in October; and a sister, Ruthann and her husband Thomas Cardell.
