Doris M. Smicker, 88, of West Catasauqua, died March 27, 2018. She was the wife of the late Adam Smicker.

Born in East Mauch Chunk, she was a daughter of the late James and Margaret (Fronheiser) O’Donnell.

She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church, Allentown.

She is survived by a daughter, Janet M. and her husband Donald “Doug” Solomon of Northampton; a son, Larry T. and his wife Lorraine (Petrosky) of West Virginia; five grandchildren, Jennifer and her husband John Maruscak, Adam and his wife Brandy Solomon, Valerie and her husband Matthew Jones, Karla and her husband Jason Buttrey and Daniel and his wife Jenni Smicker; 14 great-grandchildren, Jacob, Julia, Joshua, Jillian, Lindsay, Luke, Emma, Madilyn, Olivia, Colin, Drew, Lexi, Benson and Kason; a sister, Margaret Skymba of Tamaqua; and a brother, Richard T. O’Donnell of Lehighton.

She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Ketz; and four brothers, James, Edward, Joseph and Eugene.
