The end of the third marking period is April 5 for Salisbury Middle School and Salisbury High School students. The end is in sight and hopefully no more snow days to add to the end of the school year.
The Harry S Truman Elementary School PTO will host a candy bingo 6:30 to 8 p.m. April 6 in the cafeteria. There is no admission to play. Come out for a fun night with friends and a chance to win some candy.
The Pennsylvania System of School Assessment testing for students in grades three to eight will begin April 10 with language arts. The following week will be mathematics, followed by science for those students in fourth and eighth grades. Please make sure children have a good night sleep, a good breakfast and encourage them to do their best. A PSSA fun day will be held April 27 to mark the end of the testing window.
The next HST T-shirt day will be April 12. Students are encouraged to show their Falcon pride.
The next school board meeting will be held 7:30 p.m. April 18 in the administration building, 1140 Salisbury Road.
Looking forward, please remember SMS and SHS will dismiss 12:15 p.m. April 20. HST and Western Salisbury Elementary School will dismiss early the following week, 1 p.m. April 27.
The Franko Farm yard waste drop-off site will be open 8 a.m to 1 p.m. April 10 and 14.
