Barbara E. “Barbie Doll” Roth, 91, died peacefully March 29, 2018. She resided with her daughter Heidi and son-in-law Martin. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Roth. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Courtland and Dorothy (Sibbach) McNelly.

She graduated from Allentown School of Nursing in 1947 and worked for various private doctors and at the former Allentown General Hospital before joining her husband as co-owner of C.E. Roth Formal Wear.

She loved traveling to Aruba and considered that her second home.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Emmaus.

She is survived by daughters Betsy and her husband Ray Hartman, of Womelsdorf, Heidi and her husband Martin Semmel, of Emmaus; three grandchildren, Robert Kozlowski and his wife Lisa, Karl Kozlowski and his wife Alyssa, Nichole, and her husband Garret Persing; seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister Dorothy Dreher.
