Joseph E. Yost, 91, of Alexandria Manor, Nazareth, died March 31, 2018. Born in Coplay, he was a son of the late Julius and Hermina (Petrasovits) Yost. He was the husband of Frieda (Weber) Yost for 66 years.

He served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Honolulu during World War II.

He worked in the machine shop at Spirax Sarco for 37 years.

He was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Frieda and her husband John Weeks of Palmerton; a son, Joseph and his wife Sherry of Kunkletown; a daughter, Diane and her husband Richard Beil of Northampton; two sisters, Angie Horvath and Anna Labdik of Bethlehem; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Hermina Goch and Theresa Schaeffer; and a brother, Julius Yost.
