Joann A. Ferris, 54, of Bethlehem, died March 27, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital -Muhlenberg Campus. Bethlehem. She was the wife of John M. Ferris for 23 years.

Born in Calabria, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Giuseppe Fusco and the late Paolina (Peluso) Fusco. She was a soccer mom and helped at her children’s school events.

She attended Notre Dame Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, John R. and Michael A., and a brother, Rocco A. Fusco and his companion Elia, all of Bethlehem; and two sisters, Nickie A. and her husband Giuseppe Dellapietra of Bethlehem and Diana M. and her husband Ettore Nannetti of Brooklyn, N.Y.

She was predeceased by a brother, Alfred Fusco.

There will be a calling time from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on April 2 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, 18067.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. April 3 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary R.C. Church, 2181 Washington Ave., Northampton, 18067.
