Carmen A. Mutarelli, 88, of Bethlehem, died March 30, 2018. He was the son of the late Vittoria (Martucci) and Antonio Mutarelli. He was the husband of Gloria J. (Aitken) Mutarelli for 64 years.
He was a Liberty High School graduate.
He was a member of the United States Army.
He worked at the Bethlehem Steel for 32 years and retired in 1985 as chief sales clerk. After retiring, he was a starter on the golf course at Green Pond Country Club as until last year.
He was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 313, and was a past president and secretary of the Northwest Bethlehem Lions Club. He coached Northwest Little League for many years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Vittoria and her husband Marshall Kemp, Richard and his wife Kim and Patricia and her husband Steven Recchio; a brother, Louis D. Mutarelli; nine grandchildren, Matthew and his wife Kristin and Nicole Kemp, Richard A. Jr. and his wife Melissa Mutarelli, Alison, Nikki and Kelli Kovacs and Stefanie, Rebekah and Steven A. Recchio; and two great-grandchildren, Nolan and Colin Mutarelli.
He was predeceased by three sisters, Marie Donchetz, Josephine Diehl and Lucy Kail.
