SWAIN SCHOOL Oratory contest to be held April 13

The Swain School, 1100 S. 24th St., Allentown, will hold an oratory contest April 13 for students in grades 6-8. The contest is open to all Lehigh Valley students.

Student orators will create a verbal presentation that runs between three and five minutes, choosing a speech (or part of a speech) that is included in the Famous American Speeches.

All contest rules, resources and the application are available at swain.org/oratory. Applications are due April 2.
