When Parkland students Collin and Kyleigh Duff heard of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., they were worried for their cousin Daniel.
They were relieved to receive a text from him saying he had hid in a closet and was OK.
Realizing the seriousness of the shootings, Collin and Kyleigh looked for a way to support the “other” Parkland.
The brother and sister came up with the idea of selling bracelets to start a Go-Fund-Me program for the students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High.
The Duffs sold more than 4,000 bracelets as of March 3.
