Julia R. Vandak, 92, of Allentown and formerly of Whitehall and Lehighton, died March 18, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late John P. Vandak.

Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Stanislaus and Ernestina (Kukucka) Klick.

She was a seamstress for the former Fernbrook Garment Company, Forest Inn. She had earlier been employed by Atlas Powder Company.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Palmerton.

She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.

She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Patricia J. (Fies) Vandak of Allentown; three granddaughters, Tara, Cassandre and Alexandra; a grandson, Sean Paul; and five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Mark P.; a sister, Helen Keer; and an infant brother, Francis.
