Ethel Mae “Sis” (McAuliffe) DiDonato, 87, of Bethlehem, died March 21, 2018. She was the wife of the late John C. DiDonato. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late John McAuliffe and Catherine (Bartholmew) Chlebove.

She worked in several positions for area businesses over the years, most recently with American Greetings.

She was a member of St. Stephen’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bethlehem, where she helped with Vacation Bible School and other things.

She participated in the adult day program at Westminster Village.

She is survived by a daughter, Bonnie and son-in-law David; a granddaughter, Amanda and her husband Jonathan; a grandson, Jonathan and his wife Abby; four great-grandchildren Dylan, Layne, Olyvia and Hazel; and a brother, John.

She was predeceased by a brother, Robert.
