Mummenschanz is the word: Mummenschanz, 7 p.m. March 28, Miller Symphony Hall, Allentown, is back with a brand-new show, “You & me.” Performers bring to life large-scale masks and revive the historic tradition of acrobatics. The show also includes some of the troupe’s classic sketches. “You & me” was created by Mummenschanz founding member Floriana Frassetto. These visual theater pioneers make the ordinary extraordinary and speak volumes, all without saying a word. Midtown Men return: The original cast members of Broadway’s “Jersey Boys,” The Midtown Men, are together again, for “Sixties Hits With A Modern Twist,” 7:30 p.m. March 23, State Theatre Center for the Arts, Easton. The quartet, which last performed at the State Theatre in 2016, returns there for a fourth time. Tony Award-winners Christian Hoff, Michael Longoria, Daniel Reichard and Tony Award-nominee J. Dress it up: “High Notes 2018” adds a “Dress Rehearsal,” 6 p.m. March 23, prior to its 8:30 p.m. March 24 performance, Miller Symphony Hall, Allentown. As with last year’s performance, excerpts from high school and middle school spring musicals, “Aida,” “Side Show,” “High School Musical Jr.,’ and “Charlotte’s Web: The Musical,” will be performed by more than 100 Allentown School District (ASD) student singers, dancers and instrumentalists in the one-hour show, sponsored by the Allentown School District Foundation.
