Joseph Mazur, 88, of Northampton, died March 12, 2018, in his home. He was the companion of Mary Kraynick of Northampton and the husband of the late Veronica (Hricinak) Mazur.

Born in Mount Carmel, he was a son of the late George and Theresa (Pawelchak) Mazur.

He was an U.S. Army veteran.

He worked for Mack Trucks, Allentown, for 38 years until he retired in 1985.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton, where he made pierogies.

In addition to his companion, he is survived by two brothers, George and his wife Sophie of Virginia and Paul of Florida; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by five sisters and two brothers.
