James R. Yost Sr., 69, of Northampton, died March 10, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Darlene (Devan) Yost for 43 years.
Born in Lock Haven, he was a son of the late James D. Sr. and Geraldine (Heberly) Yost.
He was an electronic technician for C-Cor Company, State College, and previously in the same capacity for Lehigh Electronics, Air Products Corporation and the former Western Electric.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Brenda and her husband Terry Rachau of Mill Hall; two sons, James R. Jr. and Joseph A. and his wife Mindi of Quakertown; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jeannie Bingman and her husband Dale Eebe of Whitesville, N.Y., and Darlene and her husband James Koch of Lock Haven; two brothers, Rick of Indiana and Timothy of Lock Haven; nieces; and nephews.
