Dorothy J. (Becker) Bretz, 86, of New Tripoli and formerly of Allentown, died March 9, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Ray M. Bretz.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Glennon Sr. and Anna (Gross) Becker.

She was a pocket setter for Emmaus Manufacturing.

She attended Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Western Salisbury Church, Allentown.

She attended the Schnecksville senior center.

She is survived by a son, Jason R. and his wife Judy of East Penn Township; a granddaughter, Jillian; a great-granddaughter, Lindsey; three sisters, RuthAnn Parker of Whitehall, Carol Herman of Northampton and Nancy Kohler of Bangor; three brothers, Glennon Jr. of Coplay, Larry of Bath and Robert of Northampton; nieces; and nephews.
