Barbara A. Schmall, 81, of Coplay, died March 13, 2018, at St. Luke’s Hospice, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Carl Schmall.

Born in Coplay, she was the daughter of the late Adolph and Anna (Karoly) Taniser.

She was a member of Assumption of the Virgin Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Northampton.

She was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Allentown.

She was a bookkeeper in the Lehigh Valley for many years before retiring.

She was a member of the Coplay Lioness Club.

She is survived by four sons, Carl and his wife Michelle of Whitehall, Jeff, Alan and his wife Chris and Charles, all of Northampton; two daughters, Karen Peters of Coplay and Debra and her husband Dale Knecht of Northampton; 11 grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and a great-grandson on the way.
